For the crumble:
- Oats, 1 cup
- Plain flour 1 cup
- Caster sugar 1/2 cup
- Cinnamon 1 tbsp
- Butter 1/2 cup
For the fruit base:
- 3 cups strawberries (frozen)
- 2 cups apples (shredded)
- 1/2 cups powder sugar
- 1 lemon (zest and juice)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
- Butter the dishes you will use to bake the crumble.
- Shred the apples and mix with strawberries, powdered sugar, and lemon. Let rest.
- Gently mix all the dry ingredients of the crumble and then gently rub with the butter. They should look like breadcrumbs in the end.
- Layer the fruit first, and then crumble.
- Bake 20 – 25 minutes.
