Caramelized sourdough french toast packed with seasonal ingredients, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 1 egg (whole range egg)
- 1 banana
- 1/3 cup chocolate (powdered)
- hazelnuts (a handful )
- 1/2 tbsp powder sugar
- 1 cup pomegranate seeds
- 2 tbsp yoghurt
- 1/2 tbsp butter (unsalted)
- cinnamon (a pinch)
- 1/2 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- Soak each slices of bread in beaten egg
- Add the chopped chocolate in one of the slices
- Put the other slice of bread on the other one and toast
- In two minutes, add powder sugar on one side and toast it again until dark brown
- Set the toast aside and add a little butter and cinnamon on the pan. Fry the halves of the banana and toast the hazelnuts at the same time.
- Decorate the plate with pomegranate seeds, yoghurt and basil.
